I've been coming to the East side location for the past few years for my annual eye exam. Everyone I've dealt with here has been so professional and kind, they really care about their patients here. When I needed a follow-up appointment with a specialist the people working at the front desk were very helpful and got me booked in for that same week.

They sent me 3 text messages to remind me to be on time for my 8:30 appointment… and some woke form to fill out about pronouns and what freaking sex I thought I was.., at first I thought it was a joke.. but it’s Athens. I was early for my appointment, but apparently the scheduling means nothing to them people came in after me went ahead and… I refused to wait any longer and departed. Their time is valuable.. yours not so much.

Dr. Springer is an excellent eye doctor but the lady upfront with red hair needs more training. Don't rush me when I'm taking my time to read something that may or may not require my signature. I have the right to take as much time as I would like. I'm so sorry that I inconvenience you.

I have always had a pleasant experience when visiting Athens Family Vision. The staff is always friendly and personable. Dr. Beckham is terrific. She explains everything related to my eye exam thoroughly. She is the only eye doctor I've had that takes the time to show me all of my test results, pictures of my eye, etc, and explain them all and point out areas that may be of some concern. She is very good and I highly recommend her and Athens Family Vision.

Excellent experience! Shelley was so helpful… the whole staff was! I enjoy going to this office each year. Professional, kind, courteous, and knowledgeable staff. I definitely recommend this office!
